This is a very popular means of transport, the vast majority of roads being open to campervans. Day and night hosting facilities are called Holiday Parks. They are well maintained and suitable for all age groups. Most of them are ideally located close to major centres of interest. And if you’re new to this, no worries: rental agencies will give you a comprehensive brief before letting you go. Within a matter of days, you’ll even turn into a dump station expert.

If you’re in for an adventure but not for a marathon, may we suggest to discover one island in a campervan and to visit the other island in a rental car and B&B’s.
